Privacy & cookies

The short version
This site has no accounts, no sign-up and no contact form. It does not run advertising, analytics or any third-party tracker, and nothing you do here is sold or shared.
Cookies
Two cookies are set, both strictly necessary for the site to work:
- Session cookie — remembers which listings you have already opened, so the view counter does not increase every time you press back. Expires after two hours.
- XSRF-TOKEN — a standard security token that stops another website submitting the search form on your behalf. Expires after two hours.
Because both are strictly necessary, UK PECR does not require a consent banner for them, which is why you are not asked to dismiss one. No non-essential cookie is set at any point.
What is recorded while you browse
Each listing has a view count. It is a single number per listing, counted once per visitor per session, and it is used to decide which listings are worth keeping up to date. Browsing the site stores no IP address, name, email address or profile, and nothing identifies you. The only time we hold personal data is if you choose to use the contact form or sign up for alerts — both covered below.
If you email us
The contact form stores your name, email address, message and the IP address it came from, and sends a copy to our inbox. It is used to reply to you and nothing else — not added to any mailing list, never shared. Ask and it will be deleted.
If you sign up for job alerts
We store your email address, which types of listing you asked for, your chosen city, and the date, IP address and page where you gave consent. That consent record exists because UK GDPR requires us to be able to show that you opted in — not to track you.
Nothing is sent until you click the confirm link in the first email. Every email after that has a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately and needs no login. Your address is never sold, shared or passed to employers.
To be removed entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email info@gregradjobs.co.uk and the record is deleted.
Links to employers
Apply links point to employers and job boards that this site has no control
over. Once you follow one you are on their site under their privacy policy.
Links carry a strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy, so
your search terms and filters are not passed on to them.
